Recently, I have been engaged in thought from author Simon Sinek. Interesting enough, David Marquet (Turn the Ship Around), co-teaches with Simon at a University. I discovered this while researching Mr. Marquet after reading theleanthinker.com.
Consider what you do, and how you do it – why? “The goal is not to do business with everybody who need what you have; the goal is to do business with people who believe what you believe.” (Simon Sinek)
Take a moment, and think what is driving your decisions, your business, your life. A
re you leading inside out, or outside in? Do you know how you gain customers – what you did? Or do you have a desire, a passion, a drive to provide which transfers to how you get your passion across and what it looks like as a tangible or intangible service. Consider referencing Simon’s book, The Why of What, which will bring more clarity to the Golden Circle.
